2007 saab 93 aero MAP sensor location(Please help!!) SaabCentral Forums
Late 2.2 tid,s dont have the Map afaik.. according to the haynes manual, the map sits on the RH end of the inlet manifold. however if you have a late 2.2 tid (2001 on) , there is no map sensor there. IF anyone knows where it is on a 2001 on car, please let me know, I had a cel that said map sensor, and a supposed repair to the car for a map sensor

CJPeterborough. 1734 posts · Joined 2006. #2 · Feb 8, 2019 (Edited) Cant find any info on the P2227 (doesnt exist in the Saab WIS) You have a problem with the inlet and EGR valve likely clogged up. Car is in limp mode as a condition of the fault. Try cleaning sensors/EGR valve and checking for any leaks.

Has anyone got any pictures showing where it is located on a Saab 2.2 TiD 2002, it has the Vectra engene (cos it says on the side). I am going to attempt to give it a go myself and clean or replace it. Also any info where the MAF/MAP sensor is located. Thank you in advance.

Classic Saab 9-3/GM900 (1994 - 2002)/Conv ( -2003) Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor. I have a MY 2001 9-3 TiD (125bhp). The engine light popped on and off a few times, prior to and following fitting a new Air Mass Meter.. The car was plugged into tech 2 on Saturday and it threw up a P0121 fault code - which I was told indicated.

I tried all of the usual advice, replace the egr valve, replace the MAP sensor, check for a vacuum leak etc etc and nothing seemed to fix the problem. I then noticed that swirl flap number 4 appeared to be a little loose.

I recently spent £1400 on a clutch replacement and the engine management light came on shortly after I picked it up. 2 weeks ago , I took it in and they diagnosed it as P0105 03.

When this source of information dissappears then your computer should go into "limp home mode". To be honest I don't know enough about Saabs to tell you why.
